Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa - Webs of Learning Scholarship
Twenty $1,000 for the 2008-2009 academic year
Student must be pursuing a certificate or degree program at LCOOCC in the following ares: science, natural resources, renewable energy, or pre-nursing. Students must also have the following: GPA 2.0, must be a tribally enrolled native American, submit a FAFSA, submit an essay about their educational goals,, obtain a letter of reference about his or her willing ness to learn science and their vision for success, register full-time at LCOOCC, and must be in the 72-percentile of standardized math exam (ACT or COMPASS).
Offered on a first come first serve basis through October 15th, 2008.
